The Diaper Bank of Central AZ is the only diaper bank for the entire Phoenix Metro area. Our goal is to give one million diapers annually to non-profit agencies who help very vulnerable families.

Our story
As a faith-based organization, it is the mission of Midwest Food Bank to share the love of Christ by alleviating hunger and malnutrition locally and throughout the world and providing disaster relief; all without discrimination. Our vision is to provide industry-leading food relief to those in need while feeding them spiritually.
Our story started in 2003 when the Kieser family actioned their faith to share their blessings. They turned a shed on their family farm into a distribution site for local food pantries. Soon they realized the need was more significant, and there was room for growth. In the photo at right, Robert, David, and Paul Kieser stand in front of the original Midwest Food Bank site. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the valuable work of our volunteers, and most importantly, the blessings of God, Midwest Food Bank now shares the blessings worldwide. Midwest Food Bank currently distributes nearly $36 million worth of food to over 2,100 non-profit organizations each month. This is done from our twelve locations in Illinois, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Texas, Pennsylvania, New England, East Africa, and Haiti.

United Food Bank’s history is deeply rooted in the East Valley and dates back to July of 1983 when it began operations as United Food Distribution Center, Inc. The Food Bank was started as a nonprofit joint venture among East Valley cities and their respective United Ways to gather and distribute food to East Valley organizations that were helping feed those in need. The Food Bank assisted 28 different community partners that first year, and some are still partners today like the Mesa Senior Center, The Apache Junction Food Bank, and the Chandler Christian Community Center.
To serve the most people possible, United Food Bank collaborates with more than 120 partner agencies and programs helping feed families, children, and seniors.

Inspiring generosity among our clients, communities and workforce
Founded on shared beliefs, Thrivent has been helping others live more generous lives while guiding them on their financial path,
Generosity is what fuels us. Our drive to give back manifests in many ways, including outreach programs, volunteer efforts, charitable giving solutions and much more. Together with our clients, we amplify impacts and lift up communities.
We are a food rescue organization dedicated to eliminating food waste and hunger through innovative partnerships with food businesses and nonprofits.
We rescue food from going to the landfills before it spoils and deliver it to one of our 85 nonprofit agencies. That food is then used to prepare meals or distribute to those Arizonans in need. Last year, we recovered 2.5 million meals for Arizona.
